Sikat Gigi Bersama dan Aplikasi Fluor “Brush Day and Night 2023” SD Muhammadiyah Bogor Playen

Salah satu kegiatan promotif-preventif dari Persatuan Dokter Gigi Indonesia (PDGI) yang didukung oleh kemitraan antara FDI World Dental Federation dan Global Unilever Oral Care bertajuk “Brush Day and Nighr” di SD Muhammadiyah Bogor Playen telah terlaksana dengan sukses.

Program Kesehatan Gigi & Mulut Anak Sekolah " Brush day and night" Indonesia di SD Muhammadiyah Bogor Playen hari Rabu, 26 Juli 2023 diawali dengan pembagian sikat gigi dan pasta gigi kepada seluruh siswa dari kelas 1 sampai dengan kelas 6 di masing-masing kelas. Setelah itu siswa SD Muhammadiyah Bogor berkumpul bersama di halaman sekolah untuk mengikuti serangkaian acara mulai dari sambutan Kepala Sekolah, sambutan Bapak Kowril Playen Drs. Bambang Sri Eka Purwanta S.H., M. Pd. I. yang juga sekaligus membuka kegiatan tersebut.

Acara kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sambutan dari perwakilan PDGI Kabupaten Gunungkidul Ibu drg. Tindrayati, M.M dan sosialisasi menyikat gigi yang benar oleh kader kesgilut yang juga merupakan orang tua siswa SD Muhammadiyah Bogor. Dalam sosialisasi singkat tersebut, dijelaskan juga waktu yang baik untuk menyikat gigi dan cara menyikat gigi yang benar. Beberapa siswa juga terlihat antusias untuk mencoba mempraktekkan bagaimana cara menyikat gigi yang benar.

Kegiatan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menyikat gigi secara serentak oleh seluruh siswa-siswi SD Muhammadiyah Bogor dari kelas 1 sampai dengan kelas 6 yang berjumlah 539 siswa. Setelah itu dilakukan screening gigi siswa, dan nantinya siswa yang lolos screening akan dilakukan tindakan pengolesan Topical Aplication Fluor (TAF) oleh 5 dokter gigi dan 1 perawat gigi. Kegiatan Brush Day and Night diakhiri dengan tindakan pemberian lapisan fluor pada 50 siswa kelas 1 dan 2 sebagai bentuk pencegahan gigi berlubang/karies

One of the promotional-preventive activities from the Indonesian Dentists Association (PDGI), supported by a partnership between the FDI World Dental Federation and Global Unilever Oral Care, entitled "Brush Day and Night" at Muhammadiyah Bogor Playen Elementary School, has been carried out successfully.

The Indonesian "Brush Day and Night" School Children's Dental and Oral Health Program at SD Muhammadiyah Bogor Playen on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, began with the distribution of toothbrushes and toothpaste to all students from grades 1 to 6 in each class. After that, the students of Muhammadiyah Bogor Elementary School gathered together in the school yard to take part in a series of events starting with the speech of the Principal, remarks by Mr. Kowril Playen and Drs. Bambang Sri Eka Purwanta S.H., M.Pd. I., who also at the same time opened the activity.

The event then continued with a speech from representatives of PDGI Gunungkidul Regency, Mrs. drg. Tindrayati, M.M., and socialization of proper tooth brushing by Kesgilut cadres who are also parents of students at Muhammadiyah Bogor Elementary School. In this brief socialization, it was also explained when it is good to brush your teeth and how to brush your teeth properly. Some students also looked enthusiastic about trying to practice how to brush their teeth properly.

The activity was then continued by brushing all Muhammadiyah Bogor Elementary School student’s teeth together from grade 1 to grade 6, totaling 539 students. After that, screening of student's teeth is carried out, and later, students who pass the screening will be treated with Topical Application Fluor (TAF) by 5 dentists and 1 dental nurse. The Brush Day and Night activities ended with the action of giving fluor coatings to 50 students of grade 1 and 2 as a form of preventing cavities.
